Alton, Illinois… Alton Square Mall will host “Tigers in Need” exhibition beginning Wednesday, July 14 through Sunday, July 18 on the lower level next to Kirlin’s Hallmark. The exhibit is hosted by Welch’s Entertainment which travels around the country bringing awareness to communities about exotic animals and the dangers of purchasing domestically. The exhibit will be open during mall hours. Visitors will have the chance to view baby tigers, lions, and other exotic animals. Customers can give to the “Tigers in Need” fund for a chance to pet one and photos are available for purchase.

“Tigers in Need” was built in Wynnewood, Oklahoma in 1999, starting out as a small refuge to house unwanted big cats. Today it has grown into one of the largest projects in the country, as it is home to over 150 big cats that are living out their lives in comfort and peace.
